HX STOMP XR IR RIG
My 2026 Signature pedalboard and amps rig for the HX Stomp. These presets utilize my Tone Factor XR IRs and fully unlock the tone. This preset pack features tones based off of my pedalboard and personal favorite amps, the JMI 30/6 and Blankenship Twinplex.
This pack includes four AMPS presets and four ALL IN presets for Humbucker and Single Coils. This is meant to be used at the end of a pedalboard to act as your stereo amp modeler. 1 and 2 are normal presets with simple clean boosts at the end of your drive chain and either a hi cut to roll off some top end or a saturation button that engages a trick to add some top end saturation. 3 and 4 contain extra effects if you want a little extra option to stack on to your pedalboard.
This pack also includes 4 All In presets that can be used as a stand alone mini pedalboard.

The amps in this preset are based on my JMI 30/6 loaded with Fane 100w Blues and my Blankenship Twinplex with Supro BD-12 cab.
Make sure that the CORRECT IR is placed with the CORRECT AMP:

UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE
Ensure all of your firmware & software is up to date across all of your devices. If your firmware and/or software is not up to date you may encounter an error when importing this preset onto your device. See the Release Notes tab for recommended minimum firmware/software versions required.
IMPORT IMPULSE RESPONSES
Each preset includes a select IR(s) which will need to be imported onto the device and loaded into the IR Cab Block(s) for the preset to sound correct. Simply upload the IR file in to your unit and select the uploaded IR file for both the left and right cab.
MONO VS STEREO OPERATION
All of the presets are designed to be run in stereo - It is highly recommended for optimal tone. If you intend to run mono please note: The Line 6 devices automatically "sum" or combine the stereo signal chain to mono when only one cable is plugged into the left output of the Helix/HX Stomp. However, this tends to blur and cloud the tone - for that reason it is HIGHLY recommended that you still plug a cable into both the left and right outputs to keep the stereo signal paths intact, even if you only run mono out of the left output. You will notice your tone and the effects are clearer than if only one cable is plugged into the outputs and they are summed.
PICKUPS & GUITAR
All presets include two versions: one dialed-in for humbuckers (HB) and one for single-coil (SC) pickups. The main difference is some small EQ tweaks on the post-amp parametric EQ block. It is recommended to test out both presets and see which one suits your tastes and guitar better. Feel free to save a copy of the preset and experiment with the EQ, or any other elements of the preset to tune it as you please.
