HELIX XR IR RIG
My 2026 Signature pedalboard and amps rig for the Helix. These presets utilize my Tone Factor XR IRs and fully unlock the tone. This preset pack features tones based off of my pedalboard and personal favorite amps, the JMI 30/6 and Blankenship Twinplex.

The amps in this preset are based on Kenyon's JMI 30/6 loaded with Fane 100w Blues and his Blankenship Twinplex with Supro BD-12 Cab.
Make sure that the CORRECT IR is placed with the CORRECT AMP:
Essex A30 (TF JMI 2x12 100w BLUE 545 3 - Enhanced)
US Super Nrm (TF SUPRO 2X12 BD12 545 3 - Enhanced)
This download includes the main Helix preset in two versions for both humbuckers and single coils. Version 1 uses chorus effects to accomplish an option for massive width. Version 2 uses a pitch effect to give an Octave up option. Compression was applied at the end of the chain to add a little tightness to the dynamic range to be closer to a studio engineered tone (but this can be turned off if desired). And both version come loaded with a stacked delay option for huge ambience as well as a post reverb tremolo for really cool layered options.
FOOTSWITCH
DRIVE first gain stage
BOOST second gain stage that turns on a boost after the drive
TREMOLO turns on the post reverb tremolo
PING PONG turns on the second delay, the ping pong delay that is before the tape delay
COMP SQUEEZE engages secondary settings for the ultimate compressed clean tone
CHORUS/OCTAVE preset 1 engages the super wide, slow rate chorus effect for maximum width, preset two engages the octave up pitch effect
TREM FAST Increases the speed of the post reverb tremolo
DELAY SUB changes the delay subdivision of both delays
VERB MIX Increases the verb mix for bigger wash and cuts some top end of the effect to keep tone under control

MONO VS STEREO OPERATION
All of the presets are designed to be run in stereo - It is highly recommended for optimal tone. If you intend to run mono please note: The Line 6 devices automatically "sum" or combine the stereo signal chain to mono when only one cable is plugged into the left output of the Helix/HX Stomp. However, this tends to blur and cloud the tone - for that reason it is HIGHLY recommended that you still plug a cable into both the left and right outputs to keep the stereo signal paths intact, even if you only run mono out of the left output. You will notice your tone and the effects are clearer than if only one cable is plugged into the outputs and they are summed.
UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE
Ensure all of your firmware & software is up to date across all of your devices. If your firmware and/or software is not up to date you may encounter an error when importing this preset onto your device. See the Release Notes tab for recommended minimum firmware/software versions required.
IMPORT IMPULSE RESPONSES
Each preset includes a select IR(s) which will need to be imported onto the device and loaded into the IR Cab Block(s) for the preset to sound correct. Simply upload the IR file in to your unit and select the uploaded IR file for both the left and right cab.

PICKUPS & GUITAR
All presets include two versions: one dialed-in for humbuckers (HB) and one for single-coil (SC) pickups. The main difference is some small EQ tweaks on the post-amp parametric EQ block. It is recommended to test out both presets and see which one suits your tastes and guitar better. Feel free to save a copy of the preset and experiment with the EQ, or any other elements of the preset to tune it as you please.
